Dear Dr. Pornchai Danvivathana,
Thank you for your gracious participation in meetings alongside the entrepreneurs from the tourism sector in Yazd province.
As the Ecolodges Association in Yazd, we are enthusiastic about strengthening our collaboration with our peers in ACD countries. Ecolodges, in our belief, are not just mere accommodations or recreational spots but also serve as vital centers in less developed areas like urban historical deserted fabrics or in villages and natural settings, aiming to empower local communities sustainably. Our efforts in Iran and Yazd are aligned with the latest sustainable local development practices, which we trust can harness development trends and the forces of globalization for the benefit of our communities. We recognize that culture and tourism play a significant role in ACD as big drivers of empowerment and development.
We envision a brighter future for the economy, culture, and nature of all of Asia through the establishment of an ACD countries’ Ecolodge association or network. We are prepared to provide a preliminary proposal on this matter and commence collaboration if you could advocate for our cause to the member ministers and guide us to the relevant bodies and authorities (i.e. Ecolodge associations, societies, and institutions) within the ACD member countries.
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated, and we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to work closely with you and our counterparts in the member countries.
With warm regards,
