گفتگوی همکاری آسیا

گفتگوی همکاری آسیا (ACD) یک سازمان بین دولتی است که در 18 ژوئن 2002 در چا-ام، تایلند تأسیس شد. این انجمن به عنوان یک انجمن در سراسر قاره عمل می کند، با هدف ترکیب هر کشور آسیایی و تقویت همکاری بین اعضای آن. ارزش‌های اصلی ACD شامل تفکر مثبت، غیر رسمی، داوطلبانه، غیر نهادینه‌سازی، گشودگی، احترام به تنوع، و ماهیت در حال تحول فرآیند ACD است. این سازمان بر گفتگو و پروژه ها با تأکید بر ایجاد پتانسیل ها و نقاط قوت آسیا متمرکز است. هدف آن تبدیل قاره آسیا به یک جامعه آسیایی است که قادر به تعامل با بقیه جهان در شرایط برابرتر و مشارکت بیشتر باشد. ACD دارای 35 کشور عضو است و نشست های وزیران سالانه برای بحث در مورد همکاری ها و تحولات منطقه ای برگزار می کند

18th Anniversary of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue

The 18th day of June of every year is a historic day for all Member States of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) since the ACD was founded on this day of June 2002,

ACD Workshop on Education

ACD High-Level Roundtable Meeting

The ACD High-Level Roundtable Meeting of ACD University Network (ACD-UN) was a continuation and follow up meeting of the 2nd ACD High Level Roundtable Meeting on Academic Collaboration.

Since its inception, the ACD has rapidly developed in two dimensions, namely, dialogue and projects.

Currently, the ACD comprises 35 countries, namely: the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, the Kingdom of Bhutan, Brunei Darussalam, the Kingdom of Cambodia, the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of India, the Republic of Indonesia, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Japan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Korea, the State of Kuwait, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Malaysia, Mongolia, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Nepal, the Sultanate of Oman, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the State of Palestine, the Republic of the Philippines, the State of Qatar, the Russian Federation, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Singapore, the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Kingdom of Thailand, the Republic of Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.

The main objectives of the ACD are as follows:

  • To promote interdependence among Asian countries in all areas of cooperation by identifying Asia’s common strengths and opportunities which will help reduce poverty and improve the quality of life for Asian people whilst developing a knowledge-based society within Asia and enhancing community and people empowerment;

  • To expand the trade and financial market within Asia and increase the bargaining power of Asian countries in lieu of competition and, in turn, enhance Asia’s economic competitiveness in the global market;

  • To serve as the missing link in Asian cooperation by building upon Asia’s potentials and strengths through supplementing and complementing existing cooperative frameworks so as to become a viable partner for other regions;
  • To ultimately transform the Asian continent into an Asian Community, capable of interacting with the rest of the world on a more equal footing and contributing more positively towards mutual peace and prosperity.

Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD)

The Secretary General is the main administrative official of the Organization and the foremost authority of the Secretariat. He administers the affairs of the Secretariat to ensure effective manner in facilitating the coordination between Member States and supervises the direction of the Secretariat as the centre of communication and coordination of all ACD activities.
